SUMMARY:National Public Lands Day - Improving Access and Recreational Opportunities at Pumpkin Hill
DESCRIPTION:Help increase the access to neighboring public lands and increase the recreational opportunities at Pumpkin Hill Creek and the 7 Creeks area by installing access points along bordering property lines. These new access points will allow users – hikers\, equestrians\, and mountain bikers – to travel for many more miles across seven different public lands. Some minor vegetation clearing to better open up these access points will be completed as well.\nWe will meet in the main parking area of Pumpkin Hill Creek Preserve State Park and travel to our work location. Bring sturdy gloves and drinking water. Sunscreen and insect repellent are also recommended. This event is organized by the Florida State Parks. For more information\, click here.\n
