Spread throughout the connected wilderness parks and preserves surrounded by seven creeks\, this family-friendly\, fun event raises awareness of these preserved public lands and how we can help protect them. \nCHOOSE YOUR OWN ADVENTURE\nStart your day at the Welcome Hub at Betz-Tiger Point Preserve to get your map and visit the exhibitors. Then you head to the other program sites to explore the trails with guided kayaking\, biking\, and hiking\, as well as other recreational opportunities. SUMMARY:The St. Johns River Celebration 29th Annual Cleanup
DESCRIPTION:Join Timucuan Parks Foundation as we partner with the City of Jacksonville and Keep Jacksonville Beautiful in their annual city-wide St. Johns River Celebration 29th Annual Cleanup. We will host cleanups at: \n\nFort Caroline National Memorial (8-10AM)\, 12713 Fort Caroline Rd\nReddie Point Preserve (8-10AM)\, 4499 Yachtsman Way\n\nAll volunteers should wear closed-toe shoes and clothes that can get dirty. Bring work gloves (if you have them)\, sunscreen\, insect repellent\, and a reusable water bottle. Timucuan Parks Foundation will have additional work gloves\, equipment and supplies and will provide snacks and water. \nVolunteers under 18 years of age not accompanied by a parent or guardian must bring a completed waiver form. The waiver form is found at the Volunteer page. \nYou can find other locations by visiting the Cleanup page.
