Healthy Living

Join Timucuan Parks Foundation as we take you out for a walk in the woods or a paddle on the creek to improve our health and enjoy our outdoor community. Whether you're looking for new places to explore or low-impact outdoor adventures in a group setting, our Healthy Living series has something for everyone. Enjoy our local wilderness parks and see how spending time in nature may improve your overall well-being!

Youth Education

Timucuan Park Foundation's Great Outdoors youth programs provide service-learning and recreational opportunities with a hands-on approach to experiencing nature. In partnership with the City of Jacksonville, Florida State Parks, and National Park Service, we show local youth how to appreciate and learn from the outdoors, empowering students to become avid learners and enabling them to begin building a lifelong connection to the wilderness parks and other public lands.

Our goal is to encourage outdoor recreation and environmental stewardship as life-long pursuits.

Stewardship

At Timucuan Parks Foundation, we firmly believe in responsible stewardship of our public lands. Not only do we learn from and appreciate our wilderness, but we also make it a priority to take care of these special places.
