Come forth and help us keep Hanna Park clean. Join us for the after-July 4th beach and park cleanup at Hanna Park.
Identify yourself as a volunteer when arriving at the park entrance station for free entry; meet at Shelter 5 (drive about 1/2 mile and turn right at the first stop sign after you enter the park).
When: July 5, 9 – 11AM
What: Litter pickup in the parking areas, picnic areas and the beach.
What to wear and bring: Please wear comfortable, closed-toed shoes. It is highly recommended that you bring sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses and a full reusable water bottle.
What we will provide: Timucuan Parks Foundation and City of Jacksonville/Keep Jacksonville Beautiful will provide equipment, trash bags, and gloves. Timucuan Parks Foundation will provide additional water and granola bar snacks.
