Timucuan Parks Foundation, in partnership with AARP Jacksonville, is hosting monthly Wednesday walks in Jacksonville’s parks and preserves. The Spring 2020 series opens February 19:
“Timucuan Parks Foundation: Celebrate and Explore Our Wilderness Parks” is a special exhibition at the Museum of Science & History (MOSH) that highlights the area’s national, state, and city parks and preserves and recognizes the sense of place and sense of well-being they provide. Artist Kathy Stark will guide us through the 20th Anniversary exhibition of paintings, photography, and special video of Jacksonville’s wilderness parks followed by a 1.2-mile breezy walk along the St. Johns River on the paved Southbank Riverwalk.
Free and open to all but registration required.
You can view the other scheduled walks at our Healthy Living page.
