June 28 @ 8:00 am – 9:30 am
Join the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission on Sunday, June 28, for a Shorebird Stroll in Amelia Island State Park. The event will begin at 8 a.m. and start in the parking lot with an approximately 1-mile walk to the Amelia Island Critical Wildlife Area. A biologist will be leading the way and discussing Florida’s beach-nesting birds, coastal environments, and will give you tips for sharing the shore with sensitive wildlife.
