Yellow Bluff Fort Historic State Park preserves 1.3 acres of a former Civil War encampment near the mouth of the St. Johns River. Never an actual fort, the encampment was used by both Confederate and Union troops and was home to the 54th Massachusetts Infantry Regiment, one of the most celebrated regiments of black soldiers.

Features include a short nature trail, replica cannon, and picnic area. On New Berlin Rd, east of Dames Point Rd.
