Guided Firefly Hike

May 9 @ 7:00 pm 9:00 pm

Join the Timucuan Parks Foundation for a magical evening outdoors at the guided Firefly Hike on May 9, 2026, from 7:00–9:00 PM.

As dusk settles over the landscape, participants will be led on a guided walk to experience one of nature’s most enchanting seasonal phenomena—fireflies illuminating the night. Along the way, your guide will share insights about local ecosystems, nighttime wildlife behavior, the history of this special property, and the importance of preserving Jacksonville’s unique parklands.

This relaxed, family-friendly experience is designed to connect guests with nature in a meaningful and memorable way. Please wear comfortable, closed-toe walking shoes, and bring insect repellent, bottled water and a sense of curiosity as we explore the glowing world of fireflies together.

Pricing (non-refundable):

  • $20 per person (Non-Members)
  • $10 per person (Timucuan Parks Foundation Members)
