SUSPENDED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
Timucuan Parks Foundation, in partnership with AARP Jacksonville, is hosting monthly Wednesday walks in Jacksonville’s parks and preserves.
PLEASE NOTE: THIS WALK IS ON A MONDAY
Described as one of the best birding sites on the east coast of Florida, Huguenot Memorial Park is home to thousands of royal terns, laughing gulls, and other species during nesting season. Set out on a two-mile ranger-guided walk of the park and portions of the Great Florida Birding Trail, talk to wildlife photographers, and view the nesting birds up close through spotting scopes.
Free and open to all but registration required. Registration link will be added when available.
You can view the other scheduled walks at our Healthy Living page.
