Junior Ranger Angler Fishing Clinic for Military Families

RESCHEDULED – Timucuan Parks Foundation is helping to provide local military families access to fishing opportunities and environmental education in the wilderness parks.

In partnership with Blue Star Families Jacksonville and Timucuan Ecological and Historic Preserve, TPF coordinates and helps host a Junior Ranger Angler fishing clinic where kids practice how to cast and tie knots and learn about ethical angling and local Gullah Geechee fishing heritage. Kids get to learn from park rangers and, after completing all requirements, earn their Junior Ranger Angler badge!

This program is funded with a grant from the National Park Foundation.

Free but registration required. Space is limited. Registration through Blue Star Families of Jacksonville.
