Explore and learn about Kingsley Plantation during the return of the Kingsley Heritage Celebration on Saturday, February 18.
Titled “Homecoming,” event activities will include tours of the Planter’s house, kid’s crafts, pop-up Ranger programs, opening remarks, Pan-African drumming and dancing, and descendant Peri Frances’ presentation “Homecomings: Stories from a Journey to Senegal.”
Al events are free and open to the public.
The celebration will continue on Saturday, February 25, with living history and historic weapons demonstrations.
