Join us January 16 at the fishing pier at Blue Cypress Park for our Martin Luther King Jr Day of Service project in partnership with JaxParks.
The project entails park beautification and litter pickup:
- Meet at the boardwalk.
- Wear closed-toed shoes and clothes you do not mind getting dirty. We will be working under the boardwalk and along the shoreline — low tide but may be messy/mucky.
- Bring a full reusable water bottle (and maybe a little backpack to carry it in as you will need free hands).
- We will provide gloves and bags and snacks.
- If you are under 16, you must have a parent or a group leader. If you are between 16 and 18, you must bring a consent form signed by your parent (get the form here). If you are over 18, you will sign the waiver onsite.
