Celebrate Bike Your Park Day and National Public Lands Day with a family-friendly bike ride through the Pumpkin Hill and Cedar Point parks and preserves! Pedal on flat natural trails that take you through beautiful upland oak hammocks and along pristine salt marshes.
Where: Parking and registration at Betz-Tiger Point Preserve located at 13990 Pumpkin Hill Road, Jacksonville, FL, 32226.
What: Off-road bicycling on natural trails through the preserves. Starting at Betz-Tiger Point Preserve, riders can choose the 5-mile tour of Betz-Tiger Point Preserve or a 20-mile tour of Betz-Tiger, Pumpkin Hill Creek Preserve State Park, Cedar Point Preserve and the National Parks Service’s Cedar Point.
Other: Bring your helmets! Snacks and water provided, unofficial “opening” of the Cedar Point to Cedar Point Preserve bridge, and a stop at the historical Fitzpatrick ruins.
