October 31 @ 9:00 am – 12:00 pm

Join Timucuan Parks Foundation and artist Scott Merrell for a fun, relaxed nature journaling outing designed to help you slow down, look closer, and discover the stories hiding in the natural world. Along the way, Scott encourages three simple questions: What do I notice? What do I wonder? What does this remind me of?
We’ll sketch, jot down observations, measure, ask questions, and share discoveries together. No artistic experience is needed, just bring your curiosity and a willingness to explore.
To start the day, we will be taking a 1-mile walk. If this a challenge for you, no worries, you can relax and observe at the journaling spot – we’ll only be a moment.
Come ready to have fun, explore, and discover something new about the natural world!
