June 21, 2025 @ 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
Join us on Saturday, June 21, from 9 a.m. to noon as we clean up litter at Reddie Point Preserve. The park, located at 4499 Yachtsman Way in Arlington, is at the bend of the St. Johns River, and includes nature trails and a large fishing pier. We will be working together with youth from Ecora, a student-led nonprofit for environmental conservation, as we clean trash from the preserve and shoreline.
Please wear closed-toe shoes, clothes you can get dirty, and a hat. Bring your work gloves (if you have them), sunscreen, insect repellent, and a full reusable water bottle. We will have work equipment, additional water, snacks, and extra insect repellent.
You can earn community service hours at this event. Children under 16 must be supervised by their parent/guardian or scout leader. Anyone under 18 must have a parent/guardian’s signature on the liability waiver before starting work. The waiver and a form to join TPF’s volunteer list can be accessed at https://www.timucuanparks.org/volunteer/. For more information, contact Felicia Boyd at [email protected] or call (904) 374-1107.
