Timucuan Parks Foundation (TPF) is inviting the community to help support its work to protect and preserve Jacksonville’s wilderness parks and preserves through a fundraiser at Hawkers in Neptune Beach. On Monday, Sept. 23, the restaurant will give 10 percent of all proceeds from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. to the nonprofit.
“Come out and eat some tasty Asian food while helping us continue our mission of connecting the community with our wilderness parks and preserves and making sure they are ready for your enjoyment,” said Mayda Velez, executive director of TPF. “Make it a great night and invite some friends to join you. We are grateful to everyone who will join in and to Hawkers for supporting a great cause!”
Hawkers in Neptune Beach is located at 241 Atlantic Blvd. The restaurant offers Asian street food with bold flavors including Roti Canai, Po Po Lo’s Curry, Singapore Mei Fun and more.
