Fall marks the end of the growing season at Kingsley Plantation, so come out to learn about the work that went on at the plantation. Join the National Park Service for a day of living history demonstrations. Natural dyeing, butter churning, cotton spinning, cooking, and a tabby-making demonstration are just a few of the activities to see.
Visit Kingsley Plantation, a part of the Timucuan Ecological and Historic Preserve, to experience living history: stations featuring spinning, cooking and other skills and trades will run from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Performances from storyteller Cynthia Watts and dance theater Nan Nkama begin at 1:00 PM.
