Volunteers are needed to help clean up Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park on Tuesday, Sept. 2, after the Labor Day Holiday. Please meet us at the park at 8 a.m. and let the gate attendant know you are there for the Timucuan Parks Foundation cleanup event to receive free entry.
We ask that you wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty and closed-toe shoes. A hat is highly recommended. Bring your work gloves (if you have them), sunscreen, insect repellent, and a full reusable water bottle. We will have work equipment, additional water, snacks, and extra insect repellent.
Children under 16 must be supervised by their parent/guardian or scout leader. Anyone under 18 must have a parent/guardian’s signature on the liability waiver before starting work. The waiver and a form to join TPF’s volunteer list can be accessed at https://www.timucuanparks.org/volunteer/. You can also earn community service hours at this event.
